  • Russia
I will be leaving Turin by car to reach Malpensa Airport in Milan from where I'll fly to Germany. From Germany I will land in Moscow, the first day. The next day I'll organize myself for the Trans-Siberian. On day 3 the Odissey starts from Yaroslav Station on board train 3/4, direction Beijing. I'll stay on the train till day 9, when, after having crossed the border to Mongolia, I'll stop in Ulaanbaataar. Around day 23 then, I'll get back into Russia from China, riding the Beijing Loop. A stop is due in Chita to see the Alkhanay mountain and Ulan-Ude, capital of the Buryat Republic, before reaching Lake baikal, where I'll stop for three full days exploring the lake uniqueness. On day 32, I'll resume my journey toward Moscow, stopping at Tomsk via Krasnoyarsk. Then on to Perm, Kazan or Vladimir to finally reach Moscow, where I'll stay till day 45, when I'll fly back to Italy.

  • Mongolia
The only stop in Mongolia will be Ulaanbaatar. Around day 8 I'll cross into Mongolia from Russia, to explore the capital and the surroundings until day 12, when I'll head toward Beijing, entering China.

  • China
On day 13 I should be in Beijing where I plan to stay for six full days. On day 18 I'll head north to reach Harbin on day 19. Here I'll go visit the Siberian Tiger Park and the natural surroundings of the city. Three days later, on day 22 I'll be crossing borders again, this time from China to Russia.
